The Pronunciation of Initial Classes of “溪” and “群” in Tongcheng(通城麦市)Dialect

通城话溪群母字的语音演变是在汉语方言经历了浊音清化的大背景下进行的,所以它完全不是存古而是创新。在这个创新过程中,有两种力量不可忽视,一种是通城话普遍存在的强烈的送气成分,一种是不同的介音对声母产生的影响。通城话古溪群母字的今音表现是在这两种力量共同作用下产生剧烈变化的结果。

This paper is the study of initial classes of “溪”and “群”in Tongcheng（通城）dialect. Considering the consistency of Gan dialect, the pronunciation of entire Jian system word（见系字） ,we must recognize the innovation nature of initial classes of “溪”and “群”in Tongcheng（通城）dialect. Based on this, the author of this paper has analyzed the environment of speech sound which has caused those changes.
