摘要
语言是交际工具,而交际活动的前提是要听懂对方的语言。《大学英语教学大纲》要求学生通过两年的 学习后,应具有一定听的能力。由此可见英语听力教学在整个英语教学中的基础地位。然而许多学习者虽然花 费了大量的时间和精力,但在获取信息的能力方面仍然收效甚微。影响听力的因素很多,忽略了语篇的衔接是 其中之一。
The prerequisite of communicative activities is to understand the speaker' s language. In the light of the request of The Syllabus for College English Teaching, students must acquire some listening abihty after two year's learning. From this we can evaluate the essential position of listening teaching in the whole English teaching. However, many students fail to make progress though they have spent plenty of time and energy on it. The ignorance of the textual coherence is one of many factors that affect listening comprehension.
