The working principle, features and installation of radar level meter are introduced. Suitable radar level meter is chosen according to the temperature and corrosion characteristics of the media measured and site space. When there are some equipment, such as coiled pipe, heat exchanger and agitator that will affect measurement within the container or the media has low relative dielectric constant, a wave-guiding tube needs to be installed to increase energy of reflected wave and ensure measurement accuracy.
