虚拟现实技术是20世纪末兴起的一门崭新的综合性信息技术。本文讨论了基于VRML的机械产品虚拟设计技术;探讨了虚拟环境下的人机交互方式,并研究了建立机械产品的虚拟原型系统的方法,结合数据库和Web技术,构建了基于VRML与Java的变电柜虚拟原型系统,实现了虚拟环境下的人机交互。

Virtual Reality （VR）, newly sprung up in the late 20th century, is a comprehensive informational technology. The paper researches on virtual design technology of mechanical product based on VRML, discusses the human-computer interactive mode in virtual environment. In this paper, a Virtual Prototyping System based VRML-Java is constructed combined with the techniques of Data Base and Web. Human-computer interaction is realized in virtual environment.
