改性奥氏体锰钢适用于冲蚀磨损、凿削磨损以及高应力磨损等工况条件下.和高锰钢相比,其使用寿命明显提高.在某些工况下,例如大角度冲蚀磨损的风扇磨煤机冲击板,改性高锰钢与高铬铸铁—低碳钢双金属寿命相当.但是,改性高锰钢的生产工艺简单,成本较低、综合经济效益好,它有足够的韧性,可以保障工件安全服役.
The modified austenitic manganese steel is suited for the operating condition of impact-corrosive wear, chisel-cutting wear and high stress wear. Compared to high manganese steel, the service life is obviously increased. In some operating condition for example, the shock board of fan grinding-coal machine for large angle impact-corrosive wear, the service life of modified austenitic manganese steel corresponds to those of the bimetallic high-chromium iron-low carbon steel. But production of the modified austenitic manganese steel is simple, low production cost and good comprehensive economical benefit. It could ensure safy in service for the workpiece because of enough toughness.
