This article takes the construction of the Hunnel section, where the Hangzhou Jiefang Road Extension Project passes through the rare trees, as an example to determine the procedure of the protection scheme for rare trees with tunnel passing through. Based on the detailed description and analysis of the influence of the tunnel construction on the rare trees, the authors depicted the scientific and reasonable construction measures and the protection scheme, at last their application at the site is analyzed and summarized.
