保水剂对玉米出苗率及土壤水分的影响

Effect of Super Absorbent Resin on the Rate of Maize Emergence and Soil Moisture

盆栽试验结果表明,施用保水剂的土壤持水量在田间持水量45%以下时玉米种子不能出苗,而对照处理在土壤持水量达到田间持水量45%时能够保证100%的出苗率。盆栽试验和田间试验证明了保水剂对玉米出苗率有一定的负面影响,但是施用保水剂的处理在积蓄土壤水分,减轻表层土壤水分散失方面有一定的作用,尤其在雨后测量结果更为明显。

The results of pot cultured experiment showed that seeds of maize could not come out when the soil moisture was under 45 percent of the maximum field water holding capacity if super absorbent resin was added in the soil, whereas in the control treatment with the same water content they could come out. The resuits proved that application of the super absorbent resin reduced the rate of maize emergence. Field trials also proved the fact. It is helpful in gathering and storing water for the super absorbent resin can avoid the water from running off. The determining of water content after raining showed the effect more clearly.
