In information war, support effectiveness of new-type air ammunition depends on the ability of information management. Contraposing the main problems of the new-type air ammunition support management at present, the characteristics of data depot are introduced, and the differences between data depot and traditional affairs database are presented. Necessity for setting up a data depot of new-type air ammunition support is narrated.
