Daqing's annual crude output has been maintained at about 50 million tons for more than 20 years until 2005. Even if its crude output begins to shrink, it still accounts for one-third of China's total oil output. As for China's largest oil field, Daqing Oil Field is planning to realize a sustainable development, in a bid to prolong its life span.
