The Construction of Political Civilization Should be our Basic Policy for Tackling Corruption

走向政治文明是人类社会发展的必然,是共产党人新世纪的明智选择。政治文明的要义在于政治建设的各个环节,从制度、规则、主体、过程、结果都要公开、公平、公正、亮化、透明。不论何种原因,腐败在操作层面上都是在隐蔽、黑暗、地下、幕后进行的。因而,要预防、治理、杜绝、消除腐败,建设政治文明是治本之策。

It is an inevitable outcome for human society to realize political civilization, which has been a wise selection for the Communist Party to reach the target for the new century. The key point of political civilization lies in that all sectors of political construction, including the construction of institution, regulation, principal parts, process and result, should be carried out in a state of open, impartiality, justice and being honorable. On the contrary, political corruption practices, no matter what the reason is, are always done secretly. Thus, it is our basic policy to strengthen the construction of political civilization, in order to prevent and eliminate the corruption practices.
