Project Summary The Imperial Palace, also known as the Forbidden City, which was started its construction in 1406 （Ming Emperor Yung Lo＇s reign） , has a history almost 600-years Meridian Gate, the entrance of the Imperial Palace, is also the first gate leading to the Hall of Supreme Harmony （Tai He Dian）.
