Providing Socialized Public Service for Distance Education——the Only Way to Ensure Sustained Developments in RTVUs.

当前,我国教育形势正在面临一个持续协调发展的战略机遇期,远程教育的重心开始从“量的扩张”转向“质的提升”,对全国数百万学生提供远程学习的支持服务已成为制约远程教育全面质量管理的关键环节。依托广播电视大学建设社会化远程教育公共服务体系,是教育部对广播电视大学的重要政策支持。为远程教育提供社会化公共服务也是广播电视大学可持续发展的必由之路。

China＇s public education is in a strategic period for a healthy and sustaining growth. The focus of distance education is changing from“fast expansion in quantity” to“improving the quality” . Lack of supporting service to millions of students has become the bottleneck that prevents the quality management of distance education. With the policy support from the Development of Education, RTVUs are planning to build a socialized publice supporting system for distance education. Providing socialized public service for distance education is also the only way to ensure sustained developments in RTVUs.
