A Contextual Perspective on Local Color of Several Writers Who Come from Ningbo

现代文学史上的一批宁波籍作家在中国文坛上有一席之地,如苏青、柔石、巴人、王鲁彦等。他们虽然都是走出家乡后才相继成名,但他们所有的成名之作几乎都植根于家乡的生活土壤,浓重的乡土气息渗透在他们的字里行间,是家乡独特而丰富的文化语境成就了他们的创作特色。

There are a group of native Ningbo-writers in the history of modem literature, namely, Suqing, Roushi, Baren, Wang Luyan, etc, with established foothold on the scene of Chinese Literature. Although they did not become famous one alter another until they left their hometown, Ningbo, almost all of their name-making pieces of writing were deeply rooted in the soil of this land. Their literature is permeated with a strong local color. It is the unique and diverse cultural context that has contributed to the distinction of their literary creation.
