摘要
通过介绍Krashen的“输入假设”和Swain的“输出假设”,分析了两种假设的理论意义;继而通过探究目前我国大学英语教学中输入和输出方面存在的问题,得出结论:英语学习中的输入与输出是密切相关,相辅相成的。输入是输出的必要前提,输出是输入的目的,反过来对输入具有反拨作用。
Based on the research of Krashen's input hypothesis as well as Swain's output hypothesis, the paper comes up with an effective solution to the input and output problems in China's English-teaching, that is, to attach the same weight to the roles of input and output. Input and output in foreign language learning are closely related. Input is the essential preparation for output, while output is the purpose of input and in turn promotes input. Finally, this paper puts this conclusion into China's English-teaching practice and makes three suggestions as how to enhance language input and output quality in foreign language teaching (FLT).
