Remaking and Expanding UNIX into Real-time and Distributed Operating System

ＵＮＩＸ是国际上公认的优秀操作系统．在二十多年的发展中，它拥有众多的用户．为适应实时应用领域和分布式环境的需要，对其进行实时化和分布式扩展。本文介绍一个基于ＵＮＩＸ系统Ｖ４．０版的分布式实时操作系统的结构与设计以及该系统的功能与特点。

NIX is an elegant operating system well-known in the world. Along the way of its twenty year's development several significant successes hare been achieved. Hundreds of UNIX systems are in use on various computer systems. UNIX is also popular in university and industrial environments. Versions for use on personal computers are also available. To meet the needs of real-time and distributed applications, the authors remake and expend it into a real-time and distributed operating system. This paper introduces the structure, features, and functions of the distributed real-time operating system reformed on the basis of UNIX SVR4.0.
