Teachers' Leading Role in the Process of Multimedia English Teaching in Shenyang Physical Education Institute

运用多媒体进行大学英语教学能提高教学质量,增强学生的学习兴趣,但它作为先进的现代技术只是一种工具。在多媒体教学中,教师的主导作用不但不应该被弱化,反而应该加强。论述了运用多媒体教学的优势及其局限性,大学英语教师应如何进行角色定位及如何发挥教师的主导作用。

Using multimedia in college English teaching can improve teaching quality, strengthen students＇ interest in English studying, but as an advanced modem technology it is only a tool. In multimedia teaching, the teacher＇ s leading role should not be weakened. On the contrary, it should be strengthened. This paper focuses on the analysis of the teacher＇ s leading role in multimedia teaching by presenting the advantages and disadvantages of multimedia teaching, the positioning of the teacher＇s role and how to give full play to the teacher＇s leading role.
