On the Nature of Nation and Its Sociality

国家的本质问题是认识和理解国家问题的核心所在,我国政治学界先后提出的国家具有“双重本质”和“两个层次国家”等新说法,都不符合马克思主义国家本质观的本意。理解和把握马克思主义的国家本质学说,不仅要认识到国家的阶级统治属性,而且要全面、辩证地认识国家的社会属性,要从阶级性与社会性结合、国家与社会的对立统一、国家的本质与职能和两种基本职能既相联系又有区别等方面去认识国家的社会性,社会性并非国家的本质属性。

The issue of the nature of the nation is the core to know and understand the nation problem. There are some new ideas such as “double nature” and “two-grade nations” etc. in the political academy world in our country, but they all contradict to Marx＇s ideology of the nature of nation. The understanding and grasp of the Marx＇s theory of the nature of nations need us to know not only the nation＇s property of class rule, but also the nation＇s social property.
