西汉昭宣时期不存在两个严延年,酷吏严延年次卿,就是执金吾严长孙。不同的两个字是严延年在仕途不同阶段的标识。在这两个不同的阶段之间,严延年经历了一种“逃亡的生活”。
There were not two officials named YAN Yan-nian during the period from Emperor ZhaoDi to Emperor XuanDi in the Han Dynasty. The oppressive official whose name was YAN Yan-nian and who styled himself CiQing was exactly the Official Zhi Jin Wu whose name was YAN Zhang-sun. Two different names were indications of two different phases in YAN Yan-nian＇s political career. Between these two phases, YAN Yan-nian experienced a fugitive life.
