On Reforming Industrial Organization of Chinese State Banks

分析了我国国有银行改革中面临的难题,对当前在国有银行产业组织变革路径 选择上存在的两种观点进行了评述,进而认为我国银行业改革的核心问题是银行产业组织效 率的提升,国有银行产业组织变革的路径选择应该是股权多元化的产权结构改革和放松行业 管制的市场结构改革并重的综合改革,关键是政策上要扬长补短,相互配合。

The paper analyzes the problems confronting Chinese State banks and reviews the two views on reforming the industrial organization of Chinese State banks. It points out that it is essential to improve the efficiency of banks＇ industrial organization. Therefore, it is important for State banks to diversify their equities as well as reform their restricted market structure.
