各民族语言中都有大量与动物相关的词汇。在汉英两种语言文化中,有些对应动物词汇可能会使人产生相似或相近的心理联想,但由于中西之间存在着民族、历史、地域、道德观、价值观、审美情趣、风俗习惯等社会文化差异,很多对应动物词汇的心理联想意义也有很大不同。本文试图对汉英两种语言文化中对应动物词汇心理联想意义的异同加以分析比较。

All languages have animal vocabulary. Some corresponding animal words between Chinese and English bring psychologically similar association; while the psychological meaning of more Chinese animal words is different from that of their corresponding English due to the social - cultural differences of nationalities, histories, regions, moralities, values, view of aesthetics and conventions. The following article tries to analyze the similarities and differences of psychological meaning in corresponding animal words between Chinese and English and to obtain the features.
