摘要
本文以2005年TEM 8英译汉试卷和部分考生译文的分析为例,阐释直译、意译、双语转换模式以及英语长句和短句的处理,以及翻译实践中如何把握原作语言与译作语言在深层结构和表层结构上的对应与差异。
This paper illustrates metaphrase; paraphrase; bilingual switching modes, and the techniques in the translation of long and short sentences through analysis of the English - to- Chinese translation in 2005 TEM 8 and some translations done by the majors who took part in the examination. It further explores the correspondence and difference in the deep structure and surface structure between the source language and target language.
