This paper based on the on- the- spot investigation, Survey and comprehensive analysis, makes a comprehensive study of the corrosion of the storage tank of naphtha in MaoMing Industrial Corporation of Petrochemical Ethylene. Moreover, it puts forward an entirely new idea and countermeasure for its protection by taking into consideration the reason of corrosion, which can prolong the life of storage tank of naphtha and gain more social and economic benefits.
