摘要
对于国内外GIS实施、应用方面的文献做了综述和评估,在参考国内外文献的基础上提出了高校《GIS分析、设计与管理》课程设置的建议。作者认为,应从组织管理理论、信息系统、项目管理、案例分析等方面丰富GIS应用基础理论和实践知识,相关课程设计应当包括基础理论、方法论与实施管理3个部分,并配合大量的案例。作者据此思路在河南大学开设了此课程,教学实践表明,本文提供的课程设计方案适合GIS专业研究生学习,也可作为GIS本科生的专业提高课程,能够为学生提供所需的理论基础和实践知识。
This paper presents a brief literature review on GIS implementation and project management. The theoretical foundation and content structure of several popular books in English and Chinese are evaluated separately. It is concluded that the Chinese literature mainly emphasizes on software engineering, and is relatively unsystematic and inconsistent in chapter organization, The author argued that instead of using the methods in software engineering it is more reasonable to pursue the basic ideas of project management in GIS adoption, implementation and utilization. A curriculum design of GIS implementation and project management for Chinese students is introduced and discussed based on the ‘mature' texts in English. The author believes that it is essential to build the knowledge base of GIS from perspectives of organizational theory, management science, information system, project management and case study. The author's teaching experience shows that this curriculum could satisfy the postgraduate and senior students in GIS field.
