To widely use wireless and flourishing of IPv6, it is very important for wireless mobile terminals to automatically reconfigure themselves when moving among different access networks. The paper also introduces in detail some solutions using external triggers based on DHCPv6 and give an extension of the largely implemented DHCPv6 protocol to support mobility.
