The paper briefly relates the purpose, meaning of designing general data query and system, and illustrates the idea and steps of the system＇s design. On the basis of making good use of reflection database and OLE technique, taking advantages of advantages of relational instance query provided by RQBE, combining functions of data processing of Foxpro, it finally designs a system that integrates query and output printing, congregates universality, practicality, maintainability, portability and friendly interface to itself.
