Effects of Different Sowing Time on Rice Quality

除品种本身外,栽培技术正以一种不容忽视的力量影响着稻米品质。通过二年不同播种期试验与稻米品质化验,结果表明:播种过早或过迟,都会对稻米品质产生不良的影响,以兼顾产量与品质为出发点,在浙江温州地区范围内,平原单季晚稻以6月中旬播种较为适宜。

Cultural techniques have a great effect on rice quality besides variety itself. The results of this article are based on different sowing time experiment and rice quality analysis for two consecutive years which indicate rice quality is affected badly if the it is sowed too earlier or too later. Therefore, in Wenzhou plain area, the middle of ten days of June is the fitting sowing time for the late Indica Hybrid Rice if both yield and rice quality are taken into account.
