A Study of Students' Motives and Emotions' Impact on the Teaching Quality Evaluation

通过激起学生不同的评价动机和让学生评价课程、任课教师的喜欢程度以及师生关系状况,考察学生动机与情感对教师教学质量评价的影响。结果发现,评优动机对教师的教学质量评价相对宽松,研究动机则相对严格,这种现象可能是由于使用简捷启发式-排除归类法的结果。学生对课程与任课教师的喜欢程度和报告的师生关系状况在很大程度上影响教学质量评价的结果。

The paper explores the impacts of students＇ motives and emotions upon the evaluation of teaching quality through experimenting with students to be motivated to evaluate a course, preference to a teacher and teacher-student interactions. It finds that the plain heuristic or exclusive classifying method might lead to loose assessment of teaching quality influenced by excellence evaluation motives and strict assessment by research evaluation motives. And it asserts that students＇ preference for a cource and the teacher involved and teacher-student interactions to a large extent exert impacts upon the evaluation.
