In view of the rampancy of false advertising and based on a variety of demonstration of this illegal act, the paper studies the complicated causes behind the scene, holding, after analyzing the fact that false advertising keeps running rampant despite repeated ban, that the crux of the problem lies in the imperfection of our legal system. The paper puts forth specific suggestions to improve the legal system in advertisement, aiming at enabling our law and decree on advertisement to be put on the agenda as early as possible so as to standardize the advertising market and help the booming advertising industry to embark on a healthy road of development.
