网络环境下对参考咨询服务的思考

Reflection on the Consulting Service Provided in the Network Environment

新世纪图书馆事业要发展,就要开发新思路,寻找读者的需求。在信息时代图书馆信息量剧增,而人们却缺乏对信息的有效组织和控制。参考咨询服务正可以满足读者对信息的需求,满足读者对信息的求新、求快、求准的需求。本文介绍了图书馆参考咨询工作现状、面临的新问题后,提出了网络环境下参考咨询工作的内容和方式,以及做好参考咨询工作应该协调好的几种关系。

In the 21^st century, new train of thought to seek reading public＇s demands is the key to the development of library undertaking. While information volumes in libraries have been increasing sharply in the era of information, there is short of effective organization and control of these volumes of information. It is just the consulting service that can meet the reading public＇s demands for new, first-coming and precise information. This paper introduces the present and new situations of library consulting service as well as several connections needed to balance the service in the network enviromnent.
