摘要
According to the cooperative agreement between NSFC and KOSEF, the 9th Meeting of China-Korea Joint Committee for Basic Scientific Research was successfully held in Pusan, Korea from May 16 to 19, 2005. A total of 20 Joint Committee members and staffs from NSFC and KOSEF participated in this meeting. Professor Zhu Zuoyan, Vice President of NSFC, and Prof. Oh-Kab Kwon, Chairman and CEO of KOSEF, led the delegations from each side, respectively. Through the review, the meeting selected 43 projects for scientific cooperation and exchange, including 12 bilateral seminars, 27 joint research projects, and 4 fact-finding missions. In addition, both sides discussed other cooperation programs, such as the 7th Northeast Asian Symposium on Biotechnology scheduled in this November and hosted by KOSEF in Korea.
