About the Headstream of Huur

忽兀尔以音箱形状分类,大致可分为梨形火不思式和筒形奚琴式。总结两种形制的源头——火不思与奚琴,分别源于中国西北和北方少数民族。对两大类乐器的渊源关系、历史沿革、发展脉络作一全面梳理,并对其中某些脉络不明或不当之说予以梳正。梨形火不思式胡琴的世系应是:火不思——马尾胡琴(弓弦火不思:忽兀尔、伊奇里、苏古笃)——胡琴(弓弦忽雷:忽兀尔、伊奇里)——潮兀尔(叶克勒)——马头琴;筒性奚琴式胡琴的世系应是:奚琴——嵇琴——胡琴(二胡、四胡、板胡、京胡等)。

Huur are classified by the shape of their sound boxes and there are basically two kinds： the pear--shaped Hobus and the sleeve--shaped Xiqin . The two separately originated from the two main kind of musical instruments of minorities in the northwest and north of China. It is necessary to give correct headstream of them. The descent of them are respectively： the pear--shaped Hobus.- Hobus musical instrument with horse tail（Hobus with bowstrings, Huur, Ihil, Chuur）--Huqin（Hulei with bowstrings, Huur, Ihil） Chuur（Yehel） Morin Huur; the sleeve--shaped Xiqin.. Xiqin--Jiqin Huqin （Erhu, Sihu, Jinghu, Banhu）.
