通过南京大学研制的《中文社会科学引文索引》（CSSCI）对1998～2002年河南省各高校在人文社科各领域的发文、作者分布情况的统计分析，了解河南省人文社科发展状况，为河南省人文社科研究的发展提供决策依据。

This article with CSSCI （Chinese Social Science Citation Index） produced by Nanjing University as a tool ,analyzes publication of the humanitites and social science by authors in University of Henan Province 1998--2002,year,may under stand development situation in this field ,which can be a basis for future decision making.
