摘要
英语新闻教学是大学生听力课程中的重点与难点,也是英语专业学生提高语言技能的突破点。本文通过教学实例,试图寻找一种适合英语新闻听力教学的新方法,力求克服非言词障碍在教学中的负面影响,提高学生对英语新闻的兴趣,达到预期的教学效果。
This paper explains, with concrete examples, that the non-verbal barriers obstruct students' correct understanding of English news, and analyzes the problems resulting from students' knowledge of the target language. Suggestions are offered for teachers to try a new pattern teaching to promote students' comprehension of English news. lack of cultural of English news
