语用知识对学生理解和使用语言有着非常重要的作用。只有具备了一定的语用知识,学生才能准确地使用语言,才能真正学会一门语言。这就要求英语教师在讲解语言知识的同时一定要注重语用知识的传授。

Pragmatics plays a very important role in foreign language teaching. The teaching of pragmatic knowledge is as important as those grammatical rules. It is very critical for a successful communication. But some English teachers neglect the importance of application of pragmatics in their teaching process. In order to improve students＇ communicative ability, teachers must pay attention to the importance of pragmatics in teaching process. Only in this way, students can be trained to use language correctly and properly.
