摘要
本研究论述了元认知的本质及其与外语学习的关系,指出导致学生成绩高低的深层原因在于其元认知能力的差异。在对学生的元认知水平进行调查和分析的基础上,选择了一个班级进行元认知策略培训的实验性教学,着重从元认知意识、自我监控、自我评价等几个方面进行训练,旨在提高学生的元认知水平,进而提高英语四级考试的成绩。
This paper expounds the relation between metacognition and foreign language learning. It points out that the true reason for the discrepancy in performance on tests lies in the difference in the metacognitive ability. Based on the survey and analysis of the students' metacognitive level, one class was chosen to carry out an pedagogical experiment, which focused on the training of students' metacognitive strategies, self-monltoring and self-evaluation. The findings show that the students' metacognitive awareness has been more or less enhanced. And their passing rate of CET 4 has been raised accordingly.
