This paper describes the application of spraying propulsion draft cooling tower in the cyclic water system of oxygen gun in the First steelmaking plant of jinan Iron and steel Group Company. After running, It results that the cooling effect is excellent, energy consumpion of operation is save. So the spraying propulsion draft cooling tower is worth popularization during the same kind of the other plant.
