摘要
网络教学在英语专业教学中起着非常重要的作用.认知灵活性理论从教育心理学角度为网络英语教学提供了理论基础.通过基于网络的超文本、多媒体教学,学生可以从多角度进行对知识的通达获取.本文着重介绍了多媒体网络设计在英语专业教学中的实现方法和意义,指出,网站内容的丰富性和针对性是网站的重要原则,可以通过Web服务器、FTP服务器、流媒体服务器和远程终端服务器等不同方式实现有效网络教学,并强调建站技术对教师个人的重要性和必要性.
The application of hypertextual techniques mad Web-based English teaching play an important role in the teaching of English majors. Cognitive Flexibility Theory affords the psychological framework of Web-based English teaching. By utilizing hypertextual and multimedia forms of language pedagogy, students are able to absorb knowledge by a variety of means, thus achieving random access instruction. The paper deals with the major schemes in effecting Webbased English teaching and its significance in the context of TEFL, such as the setting up of Web server, stream media server and remote terminal server. A good command of Web design techniques on the part of the teacher will greatly facilitate English teaching.
