An investigation by the US ranks China the second gloomiest country around the world, only next to Russia. But our study tells a quite differ- ent story. Chinese Xiaokang Index of Happiness, in the light of our findings, scores 78.1. Those who are happier with their jobs are accord- ingly happier with their life.
