信息不对称是指市场交易双方拥有的信息存在差异。信息不对称在市场经济中是广泛而经常存在的。信息不对称会产生一系列市场结果。尽管市场可以在一定程度上解决信息不对称问题,但在社会主义市场经济体制的建立和完善过程中,更重要的是充分发挥政府职能才能有效解决信息不对称问题。

Information inequity refers to the difference in information between the trading parties in the market exchange. Information inequity exists commonly and constantly in the market economy and will cause a series of consequences in the market. The problem of Information inequity, to some extent, can be solved by the market. But, in the process of the establishment and perfection of socialist market economy, this problem can be effectively done by fully exploiting the government＇s function.
