摘要
凸起形状特征在基于特征的CAD/CAM系统中是一种逆于切削加工生成的形状特征,在集成过程中需作必须的处理和转换。本文认真分析了在集成过程中处理凸起形状特征所必须解决的问题,提出了面向集成的CAD系统设计策略,引入半空间思想进行了基于几何推理的凸起形状特征的转换处理,反映了一种系统化的集成思想和凸起形状特征的处理方法。
A mechanical part may be designed with both protrusion and depresion features. Since depression features correspond to machining process, they are easy to handle during process planing and NC cutter path generation, However, it is difficult for protrusion features. This paper describes a method which translates the protrusion features to depression features based on an algorithm of geometic reasoning in the design of integration oriented process.
