文化全球化之乌托邦性质

Culture Globalization:A Utopia

随着经济全球化程度的日益加深,世界各国、各民族之间的文化交流沟通也在经济全球化的带动下不断扩大。在这一过程中,西文文化,尤其是美国文化,正逐渐成为一种新型的全球性大众文化,因此,便有学者指出,随着经济全球化程度的不断加深,将来可能会形成一种全球性的单一文化。而西方中心论者则认为这一文化的中心将是西方文化,其他一切非西方文化将在这一过程中逐渐“终正寝”。事实上,这种文化全球化目标,仅仅是一种乌托邦幻想而已,仅仅是人类在自己之上树立自己的一种失败企图而已。

With the deepening of world economy globalization, there appears a trend of culture globalization among different nations and peoples. In this course, the western cultures, esp. US culture, have turned out to be accepted by most nations. Based on this fact, some scholars argued that there must be a simplified and central culture accepted by all the nations under the influence of economy globalization. Even further, the advocates of “western-center colture” believed that the simplified and central culture must be western culture, and all the other cultures with heterogeneity are giong to extinct. In fact, culture globalization in merely a utopia, and an unwise fantasy of human itself.
