译者的主体地位

On The Translator's Subject Position

主要从三个方面论证了译者的主体地位。首先介绍了跨文化交际翻译模式,并在此基础上通过对该翻译过程的分析论证了译者在翻译过程中的不同角色,以此来证明译者的主体地位;其次通过分析影响译者翻译目的、对象和方法等的因素,证明了译者相对的主体地位;最后,文章从译者的风格和译作的地位方面论证了译者的主体地位。

This paper illustrates the subject position of the translator from three perspectives. It first of all introduces a model of cross-cultural communicating translation. Through the analysis on the stages of the translating process ,different roles played by the translator are explained. Then the paper has a close look at the factors that influencing the translator in choosing the original text to translate, deciding the target readers for whom the translation is to be done, and selecting the proper method of translating. Finally, the paper examines the translator＇ s style and the translation＇ s importance in the target language culture.
