黔育三号西瓜新品种的选育

BREEDING OF NEW WATERMELON VARIETY QIANYU 3

黔育三号是以Ｘ─４作母本，用Ｎ─２作父本杂交育成，该品种经品比、区试和生产试验示范鉴定，亩产１８２０．６ｋｇ以上，最高的可达４０００ｋｇ，含糖量在１０％左右，比对照增产１０．８１％。具有优质、高产、抗病性较强、适应性广等特点。生育期９０～１３０天。１９９５年通过省农作物品种委员会审定，予于推广。

New watermelon variety,Qianyu 3,with 90～130 days of trowing period,superior quality,high yield,strong resistance and broad adaptability.was bred from tfte cross of X-4(female parent)XN-2(male parent).Its suger content is about 10%and its yield is up to 1820.6 kg/mu normally,and the highest yieldreaches to 4000 kg./mu,which increas.by 10.81% comparied with the control varlety,in the identificationof varlety test,regional experiment and productive demonstration.The new variety had been approvedby the Provincial Crop Variety Examination Committee and can be popularized in Guizhou.
