Application of Fire-retardant Coatings on Steel Structure

文章根据乌鲁木齐石化总厂重油催化裂化装置、航煤脱臭装置以及化肥厂丙醛中试装置等钢结构件使用防火涂装的经验,对防火涂料的工作原理、分类、应用范围等进行了介绍,重点对石化企业钢结构防火涂料的选用、施工方法、质量保证以及使用中容易出现的问题及对策进行了讨论。同时指出,粘结性能优良的超薄壁钢结构防火涂料代表了今后的发展方向。

Based upon the experience of application of fire-retardant coatings onthe steel structures in heavy oil FCC unit, jet fuel sweetening unit in oil refinery and propionaldehyde pilot plant in fertilizer complex, the working mechanisms, classification and scope of application of the coatings are described and the fire-retardant coating selection, application method, quality control and problems that easily arise and as- sociated countermeasures are discussed. It is pointed out that the fire-retardant with high cohesive performance for thin steel structures will be most popular in the future.
