Strategy of offensive defense is an overall principle put forward by the CPC at the beginning of the Anti-Japanese War and reflects colorful strategies of anti-Japanese base in the War. The essential part of the strategy lies in “offense” and the combination of both offense and defense. The strategy has manifested the mainstay of the CPC in the War and offered experience of success for the victory in future anti-invasion war.
