The Existing Problems in the Chinese Phonetics Teaching and the Possible Solutions

近十年来,对外汉语教学中的语音教学效果不甚理想,呈现滑坡的态势.究其原因既有教学法和教学安排方面的,也有认识上的以及其他一些原因.要改变这种状况,首先要在思想上树立语音教学在对外汉语教学中占有首要地位的教学观念,真正把语音教学作为对外汉语教学的头等大事来抓;要加强语音教学中现代化教学手段的运用,加强对语音教学的基础研究.在汉语学习的初期,可以利用国际音标进行语音教学;然后再学习汉语拼音,并通过汉语语音中用到的国际音标进行总结归纳.

Over the past ten years, the result of phonetics teaching has not been up to the expectation in TCSL. The causes are related to its methodology, syllabus and correct understanding of the significance. To improve this, we must attach great importance to phonetics teaching. We should also modernize the teaching means, methods and strengthen the research on the phonetics teaching as the core. Initially, we can make use of the International Phonetics Alphabet, and then teach the students the Chinese “pinyin”.
