摘要
本文认为贾宪的增乘开方法是改善传统方法而来的,首先有增乘开方法,后有'开方作法本源'图,有了增乘开方法便十分容易地推广到高次方程数值解。秦九韶规定高次方程'实恒为负',彻底完成了这一方法的公式化。
The author considers that the Zeng-Cheng Method for the Extraction of Roots, which is earlier than the Table of the Origin of the Method for the Extraction of Roots, improves the traditional method for the extraction of roots, and makes it easier to be extended to the solution of numerical higher equations. It completes thoroughly the formulization of this method that Qin Jiushao limited the constant term in the numerical higher equation to be always negative.
