上海轨道交通11号线延伸至江苏太仓的必要性和可能性

The Necessity & Feasibility of Shanghai URT Line 11's Extension to Taicany City

上海轨道交通11号线西北端终点城北站距太仓市陆渡镇仅6.5 km。11号线若延伸至太仓,将有力推动该区域的经济一体化,并使太仓成为上海经济发展的配角,成为上海的卫星城和世博圈成员之一;也可满足上海打造人文轨道交通的需要,增强上海的辐射、服务功能,推动长三角联动发展。目前,太仓已具有全方位接轨上海的坚实基础。延伸6.5 km线路,即可产生难以估量的社会经济效益,可谓事半功倍。建议将上海轨道交通11号线延伸至江苏太仓。

The terminal station of Shanghai Urban Rail Transit Line 11 at the North-west end is only 6.5 km from Ludu Town of Taicang City. The extension of Line 11 to Taicang will greatly accelerate the economic integration of this neighboring region,increase the supporting role of Taicang as a satellite town of Shanghai. At the same, this extension will not only meet the needs of Shanghai passengers for URT, but also increase the external radiation of Shanghai and finally drive the development of the Yangtze River Delta region as a whole. The author argues, Taicang has established a solid foundation for the overall juncture with Shanghai, the extension of 6.5 km of Shanghai URT Line 11 will procluce.enormous economic and social benefits for both cities.
