早在1915年美国就开始对沥青路面的再生进行研究,但发展较慢。1973年石油危机爆发后,这项技术引起人们的高度重视,到八十年代末,美国的沥青混合料的利用量几乎占全部沥青混合料的一半。西欧国家对这项技术也十分重视,自上世纪七十年代来,联邦德国就将全部沥青材料加以回收利用,法国也在高速公路及一些重交通道路修复工程中推广这一技术。我国是在近些年才开始进行沥青路面冷再生技术的应用与研究。

Early in 1915, theresearch on recyclingtechnology for asphaltpavement started in USAbut the progress wasvery slow. After the oilcrisis exploded in 1973,this technology drew great attention. Europeancountries also think highly of it. From 1970s, FederalGermany has been able to recover and reuse all theasphalt material. France is also protoming thistechnology in expressways and some important roadrehabilitation projects, while in China, it applicationsand studies just started few years ago.
