Wireless local area network (LAN ) represent an important growth sector of the communication network technology of the 1990s.It offers a highly efficient way of using a multiple access radio channels to support computer communication,also provides potential capabilities for mobility,personal and multi-media applications.In this paper,we give an overview of woreless LAN concept and the recent development in this field.The architectures protocols,analysis of networks are the presented.
